Is Your 9mobile Line Showing “No Service” or “No Network”? Here’s What to Do

Have you recently noticed that your 9mobile line has no signal or shows “no service” or “Emergency Call Only”?

You’re not alone. Many users have reported similar issues, raising the question: Did 9mobile change their server or network configuration?

Here’s What You Can Do:
Don’t rush to a 9mobile service centre and get stuck in a long queue. Try these simple steps to restore service on your line:

• Go to settings on your phone and click on connection.
• Click on Mobile networks
• Click on Network operators
• Turn off ‘Select Automatically’
• Click ‘Select Manually’
• Select ‘MTN NG OR MTN NIGERIA OR 621 16 OR 621 31
• Restart your phone after applying the changes.
• If the problem persists, insert your SIM card into another phone to check if the issue is device-related.

💡 Tip: In some areas, users have noticed that 9mobile appears to be roaming or partnering with MTN to provide coverage—this could be a temporary fix or a sign of deeper collaboration between the networks (just speculating!).
