Acting Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has directed that police patrol vehicles must obey traffic rules and regulations to protect citizens’ lives and properties.
Egbetokun emphasized the primary duties of the police, requiring officers to adhere to the police code of conduct and command public respect.
A special committee, headed by DIG Operations, has been established to tackle security threats.
