Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to unite in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, stating that a second term is crucial to the completion of the President’s ongoing economic reforms.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Keyamo emphasized that halting Tinubu’s fiscal and economic policies midway would be detrimental to national progress.
“The most important message today is that every APC member must focus on the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027 whether or not it serves their personal interests,” Keyamo said.
He described the reforms initiated by the Tinubu administration as critical to Nigeria’s long-term stability and warned against a repeat of past disruptions caused by inconsistent policy transitions.
“It would be a tragedy for another administration to interrupt these reforms. We’ve seen the harm disjointed policies have caused in the past,” he added.
The minister’s remarks underscore the administration’s drive to institutionalize structural economic changes and attract long-term investment.
